Welcome to my Gozzy.net website.

What happened to Gozzy.net; why is it not hosted on the home server as before?

I have just changed to another ISP who unfortunately don't allow the running of a home-based server. I may run a server agian sometime in the future, but this depends on the policies of whichever ISP I happen to be with at that time.

If you have happened upon this website by chance, please be aware that Gozzy.net is a privately owned website and that it is hosted part-time on a private server.

This website is intended for my personal file storage, and also future use as a streaming media server for selected non-profit organisations.

The website will operate sporadically until a computer is acquired to dedicate as a full-time server.

FYI - current server specifications are:

  • Intel D815EA mainboard 100Mhz bus 
  • 900Mhz Intel Celeron
  • 384Mb RAM
  • Western Digital 80 Gb hard disk (removable drive)
  • Apache Server 2
  • Billion 743GE 4 port router/modem
